Olugbenga Folarin & Co. is a team of professional accountants with specialization in forensic accounting/fraud investigation, all forms of audit and tax advisory services.
The firm was born out of the increasing business opportunities in the Nigerian Market and the need for professional financial services in the country. The firm is licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (C.A.C) to practice and operate as a firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Practitioners in the country. Olugbenga Folarin & Co. is registered with both the office of the Auditor-General for the Federation, the Auditor-General for Lagos State and the Auditor-General for Ogun State, Nigeria.
Hence we have since 2011 being responsible for the Annual and Statutory Year End Audit of various MDAs both in Ogun State and Lagos State through their respective Auditor General Offices. Our firm is also duly registered as a Tax Monitoring and Collection Agent with both the Lagos State Government and Ogun State Government. Hence we have also participated heavily in the yearly Tax Audit for PAYE remittances from private businesses on behalf of the various State Government.

MEET THE MANAGING PARTNER
FOLARIN, EMMANUEL OLUGBENGA B.Sc., MBA, CFAN, ACTI, ACIS, FCA.
Folarin Emmanuel Olugbenga is a highly experienced Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) with over 22 years of post-qualification experience spanning managerial roles across various industries. Born on July 15, 1980, he earned a second-class upper degree in Accounting from the University of Ado-Ekiti and later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
He holds several professional certifications and affiliations. In 2011, he became a Certified Forensic Accountant and Auditor through ICAN. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), an Associate Chartered Stockbroker, and a licensed Trader/Dealer on the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX). Since March 2014, he has served as a member of the Board of Directors at Portfolio Advisers Limited, a licensed trading firm on the NGX.
Currently, Olugbenga is the Managing Partner at Olugbenga Folarin & Co., a firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Practitioners, which he founded and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2010 following its licensing by ICAN in 2009. He also leads Cedar Professional Services Limited as Managing Consultant, offering services in forensic accounting, fraud investigation, taxation, and general consultancy.
His career began at Dosal Business Consulting Limited, a firm focused on software and IT accounting, where he was responsible for implementation, installation, and training. He later joined Olaniyi Olagoke & Co. as an audit trainee, gaining hands-on experience across various audit assignments. In 2005, he moved to Alpha Auto Refinishes Limited as the Company Accountant, a role he held for over two and a half years before joining International Standard Securities Limited, where he served as the Accounts and Investment Manager from July 2007 to February 2014.
Folarin Olugbenga’s diverse background in audit, taxation, investment, and forensic accounting marks him as a seasoned and versatile finance professional with deep expertise in both private and capital markets.

Yomi Adesuyi is a seasoned audit and tax consultant with over 25 years of experience, specializing in forensic analysis and strategic management consulting. He has built a strong reputation for delivering precise financial audits and innovative tax solutions across sectors such as banking, manufacturing, fintech, and public service.
His expertise in risk management, compliance, and forensic analysis has helped organizations strengthen their financial integrity, implement robust internal controls, and resolve complex financial challenges. Yomi’s proactive approach to evolving tax laws ensures that his clients receive forward-thinking strategies that promote sustainable growth.
At Olugbenga Folarin & Co., Yomi leads client engagements with a commitment to excellence, overseeing audits and consultancy projects from start to finish. He is known for building lasting client relationships and guiding organizations through market changes to achieve optimal financial performance.
Yomi is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of ICAN and holds additional certifications such as ACA and AAT. He earned his MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University and a B.Sc. in Banking & Finance from Olabisi Onabanjo University. Passionate about mentoring, he is dedicated to empowering the next generation of finance professionals while supporting clients with tailored insights and strategies.
